Tayco is a Toronto based office furniture manufacturer. Their website showcases their product lines and material variants in both English and French. Agents can access more information on these products and submit orders by logging into the site.
Jacknife Design was asked to revitalize the brand to compete with the top tier manufacturers. The website was part of this process, making their products more accessible to their customers and moving their agents off of a pen and paper system.
The CMS is WordPress with a custom structure to allow for the products and materials to mix without having to repeat. The site is AODA compliant and multilingual. It is responsive to all device sizes. I setup the servers and deployed the site.
I learned to deploy servers on Bluehost and how to keep databases in sync across development, staging and production environments. This included setting up SSL certificates, the mail server and upgrading PHP and mySQL versions.
