This project started before my time at Union so I can’t speak to the initial task. Through the life cycle of the site progressive enhancements were made to eliminate bugs and modernize the codebase.
I came into this project in a support role. The search feature was redone to merge two different sets of search results seamlessly, while adding more capabilities to filter and sort the results.
This was my first time working in a Python environment. I got to use the Django template language and discover the differences from developing in the LAMP stack.
